Pit bull dog shot its owner with a gun

Pit bulls are often known for being aggressive and biting hard. But apparently not in Memphis, Tennessee. A pit bull has reportedly shot its owner with a gun instead.

A strange incident to say the least and one wonders how this actually happened. Because the dog hardly picked up the pistol and fired several shots at its owner. No, it was apparently not quite that dramatic.

What happened was that the man, Jerald Kirkwood, and a woman were lying in bed with a firearm when the man’s dog jumped up and inadvertently caused the weapon to discharge and hit the man in his left thigh with a bullet.

The dog’s paw had apparently stuck in the trigger guard of his owner’s gun. The dog ultimately squeezed the trigger and shot his owner, according to the Guardian.
